Word++ offers an highly efficient method of looking up the meanings of difficult words and phrases encountered when surfing the web. The "normal" approach to looking up word meanings when surfing would take upto four steps. Word++ offers two step access to meanings.  If you are learning English or if you are browsing documents in a particular subject area, then let Word++ help you! Looking up a word is as simple as highlighting a word and clicking on a button on the browser.

Follow the steps below:

1. Drag this => W++<= link to the Personal Toolbar of your browser

2. Highlight a word with the mouse to view it's definition

(Hint: double--clicking the word also highlights the word)
3. Click on the W++ link (now) in your Personal Toolbar.

The Result and Hints:

• W++ Definition Window: A small window (W++ definition window) will popup that will show the word meaning using default English to English (Wordnet) dictionary
• Changing Default Dictionary: You can change the default dictionary by selecting an appropriate dictionary in the menu section of the W++ definition Window You can choose from a variety of foreign-language and subject-specific dictionaries.
